Please join 30 of the top middle school scientists in the country as they compete in the Broadcom MASTERS, the nation's most prestigious Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) competition for middle school students!  These talented students will be on hand to discuss their science and engineering projects with students, teachers, parents, scientists, engineers and members of the general public who share their enthusiasm for science and engineering during this free project showcase.

These 30 students were selected out of 300 Top Broadcom MASTERS, over 2,300 applicants and more than 5,000 students who were nominated.

Parking and Directions:

Enter the parking garage located on Van Ness Street NW between International Court and Connecticut Avenue at the Van Ness Main Entrance between Buildings 39 and 44. Proceed to Level C - (Lower Level). Park in the Southeast corner of Level C. Look for Student Center signage with WHITE ARROWS. You will enter Building 39 and proceed to the bank of elevators past Public Safety. Take elevators to Level A. Proceed to the Plaza Deck through glass doors. Make a right and proceed to the Student Center/Building 56. When you enter the Student Center, you will be on Level A. Take the elevators to the Ballroom Level on Level One. (Note: the main entrance of the Student Center is located on the lower level - Level B.)

Arriving by Metro Rail:

The UDC Student Center is located right outside the Van-Ness UDC station.

Entering the Building:
The main entrance to the building is on Connecticut Avenue. The Project Showcase will be located on the ground floor in Heritage Hall.
