Arconic Foundation

As the charitable arm of Arconic – which works in close partnership with customers to solve complex engineering challenges to transform the way we fly, drive, build and power – Arconic Foundation supports programs that help prepare the 21st century engineering and advanced manufacturing workforce. Arconic Foundation is an independently endowed foundation with assets of approximately $320 million. Through collaboration with our nonprofit partners, our initiatives make quality STEM education opportunities available to students; support engineering and technical skills training through community colleges, vocational technical schools and universities around the world; and help to create access for underrepresented individuals to the STEM fields. The work of Arconic Foundation is further enhanced by the thousands of Arconic employee volunteers who share their talents and time to make a difference in their communities. Established in 2016, Arconic Foundation is active in 26 countries around the globe.

Why We Participate:

The success of the advanced manufacturing industry in general, and Arconic in particular, is dependent on continuous innovation and an enthusiastic approach to STEM. ISEF and the students who attend represent the future of innovation. Arconic Foundation and Arconic employees are proud to be involved in this prestigious competition and excited to see and support the next generation of STEM leadership. Arconic Foundation sponsors two special awards. The Sustainable Design in Transportation award recognizes projects that reimagine the lighter, greener future of transportation through the practical application of innovative concepts and next generation materials. The Sustainable Urban Design award recognizes projects that illustrate ingenuity in building design that enhances energy efficiency, reduces the structure’s carbon footprint, and helps achieve green-building standards.
