Congratulations to Joshua Wentzel on being a Broadcom MASTERS 2013 finalist and on meeting President Obama.

His project looked at how to optimize air cannons:

"An air cannon is like a regular cannon, like on a pirate ship," Wentzel said. But instead of black powder, an air cannon uses pressurized air as propellant.

"I really love the TV show called MythBusters, and they feature a lot of air cannons," he said. "I thought it would be really cool if I could do that."
