Intel Corporation

Title Sponsor of the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair

Since 1997, SSP has partnered with the Intel® Corporation on the International Science and Engineering Fair®: the world's largest pre-college science competition.

Society for Science & the Public would like to thank the Intel Corporation for its commitment to serve as the Title Sponsor for the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair through 2019. Together with Intel, we are providing an opportunity for the best young scientists from around the globe to share ideas, showcase cutting-edge science projects, and compete annually for more than $5 million in awards and scholarships.

Founded in 1968, Intel Corporation is the world's largest semiconductor company. Through constant innovation, Intel continues to revolutionize the way the world experiences technology.

Intel is helping to transform the lives of millions through the Intel Education Initiative. For over a decade, Intel has been working with countries, communities, and schools worldwide to bring the resources and solutions needed for advancing education. Intel collaborates with governments, policy-makers, and local vendors to turn their vision into reality. Technology that brings quality education to more people, while sustaining local communities and economies—that's Intel’s unwavering commitment.

Inspiring the innovators of tomorrow to change our world

Research shows that science competitions are catalysts for improved education in classrooms, with a direct connection between participation in student research and ongoing success in science, including successful completion of a master’s or a PhD. That’s why we continue to invest in science competitions—to inspire a path to innovation.

The Intel Teach Program

Now in its 13th year, the Intel® Teach Program is the largest, most successful program of its kind, reaching 10 million teachers in 70 countries. Intel® Teach helps K–12 teachers in the United States change the way they teach, empowering them to engage students with digital learning, including digital content, Web 2.0, social networking, and online tools and resources. Intel Teach professional development courses help teachers integrate technology effectively into their existing curricula, focusing on their students’ problem-solving, critical-thinking, and collaboration skills—precisely the ones required in today’s high-tech, networked society.
