General Housing is now closed.
Housing can still be booked here, but Society for Science & the Public can no longer guarantee rooms or rates.
If you have any questions, please contact Jordan Schwartzbach for assistance.
Intel ISEF Housing Policy
Please note that this year ALL fairs, no matter how many rooms they need, will be invited to participate in subblock housing prior to the general opening of housing. If they choose, Fairs with less than 10 rooms will still be able to go through the official general housing portal when that opens in January. All fairs in need of 10 or more rooms must go through the subblock process. Fairs who subblock will provide their hotel needs and preferences and be assigned on a first come first served basis ahead of the general opening of housing. All fairs will be limited to the number of rooms their group actualized in 2018.
ALL fairs need to book their housing through the official Intel ISEF housing portal. Fairs should not book directly with the hotels, brand websites, other hotel websites, or any third party other than the Society’s official vendor Experient. The Society’s official hotel block includes the hotels that are closest to the convention center, have the lowest rate guaranteed, offer free Wi-Fi to all attendees, and provide the most double bedded rooms. The Society is financially obligated to sell the rooms that have been contracted on behalf of attendees. All hotels listed in the official housing portal are offering our attendees rates at $199 or lower for single and double occupancy before tax.
As the Society seeks future cities to host ISEF it is imperative that we are able to demonstrate the total number of hotel rooms occupied. The only way to do this is by tracking hotel occupancy through our portal.
We are not working with any outside agents other than our designated housing bureau Experient. If you are contacted directly by anyone offering you housing services or help securing a hotel, then please know those agencies are not working with the Society and that you may be exposing yourself to fraud.
Cancellation for individual reservations: Any cancellation after March 15, 2019 will be subject to a cancellation fee of $50 from the Intel ISEF Housing Bureau. This fee is above and beyond or in addition to, any cancellation fees that may be assessed by the individual hotels. Please be advised, the hotel(s) will charge an "Early Departure" fee if a guest checks out prior to their scheduled departure date.

Additional Hotel Information:
- The Society has negotiated complimentary Wi-Fi as part of our block. Some hotels may require joining their loyalty program in order to take advantage of the offer.

The Society has secured low hotel rates and an ample number of rooms at the hotels closest to the convention center and contractually must sell all of those rooms or will otherwise face a penalty. You should not contact the hotels directly, nor should you book on any alternative hotel or travel sites. We are also not working with any outside agents other than our designated housing bureau Experient. If you are contacted directly by anyone offering you housing services or help securing a hotel, then please know those agencies are not working with the Society and that you may be exposing yourself to fraud.
