Intel ISEF Transportation Information

Society for Science & the Public will NOT host airport shuttles to and from Sky Harbor International Airport in 2016. As was the case in 2013, we encourage attendees to utilize Phoenix's public light rail service.

Phoenix Light Rail

METRO light rail has 28 stops and a car every ten minutes. A one-way pass costs $2 or an all-day pass is $4, which can be purchased at the ticket vending machines at each station. Complimentary light rail passes will be provided to attendees staying at certain Intel ISEF 2016 Contracted Hotels

Airport Transportation

The PHX Sky Train is an automated train that transports travelers between the airport’s busiest terminal and the city’s nearest light-rail station. The Sky Train is free and operates 24 hours a day, arriving at stations every three minutes. It takes the Sky Train about five minutes to travel from Terminal 4 to the METRO light rail station at 44th Street and Washington. From there it’s a 15-minute, $2 ride to downtown aboard light rail.

SuperShuttle is also offering a discount for all Intel ISEF attendees. You can book your shuttle online using the Intel ISEF group discount code. Please see this flyer for more information.

Please see the Visit Phoenix brochure for more information on getting around Phoenix.
