Congratulations for being selected as a Nominee!  We applaud the work that you have already done by successfully completing a science fair project and competing in a SSP-affiliated science fair.  As a nominee, you have been chosen among the top 10% of the 6th, 7th and 8th grade competitors.

To learn more about how to become a nominee, please see the FAQ

Students winning a Broadcom MASTERS nomination at their fair should receive a packet of materials including instructions on how to login to complete an online application.

The 2014 Broadcom MASTERS application will open February 1, 2014.  The online application will include questions for students about their science fair project as well as their understanding of science and engineering in their everyday lives.  Students will be required to upload a parental permission form, any fair paperwork and submit the online application by the June 18 deadline to be eligible for national honors.

Entries will be judged during the summer and in September, SSP and Broadcom will announce the top 300 national semifinalists. From the semifinalists, 30 finalists will win an all-expense-paid trip to Washington, DC with a parent to showcase their projects, compete in teams and visit historical sites and organizations that celebrate innovation through science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
