As a nominee, you have been chosen among the top 10% of the 6th, 7th and 8th grade competitors at an SSP-affiliated science and engineering fair in the United States. Great work!
Broadcom MASTERS nominees receive a packet of materials at their fair, which includes instructions to open and complete an online application. The application is now open.
The online application includes questions for nominees about their science or engineering fair project and their understanding of science and engineering in everyday life. Students must complete and submit their online application and parental/guardian permission form by the June 17 deadline to compete at the national competition.
Entries are judged during the summer and 300 national semifinalists will be announced on August 19, 2015. From the semifinalists, 30 finalists and one parent/guardian will win an all-expense-paid trip to the national finals in California to showcase their projects, compete in teams and visit sites that celebrate innovation through science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
