Congratulations to the Winners of the 2015 Broadcom MASTERS!
On Tuesday, October 6, Broadcom Foundation and Society for Science & the Public annouced the top winners of the 2015 Broadcom MASTERS middle school science competition.
Annie Ostojic, 13, of Munster, Ind., won the $25,000 Samueli Foundation Prize in honor of overall STEM excellence and for her innovation in the design of a more energy efficient microwave.
Sebastian Mellen, 14 of San Diego, Calif. won the $10,000 Marconi/Samueli Award for Innovation based on his aptitude and skill in technical and mathematical concepts while demonstrating superior teamwork.

Broadcom MASTERS 2015 Finalists
Broadcom Foundation and Society for Science & the Public announced the selection of 30 students as finalists in the fourth annual Broadcom MASTERS.
The Broadcom MASTERS (Math, Applied Science, Technology and Engineering for Rising Stars) winners will be named on October 6 in San Jose, CA after completion of a rigorous competition that tests their abilities in STEM subjects, teamwork and collaboration. Finalists will be competing for more than $75,000 in awards.

Broadcom MASTERS 2015 Entrants
SSP and Broadcom are proud of the record breaking 2,230 students who completed the 2015 application. Entrants came from the top 10% of science fair projects nationwide.
